It’s called the Dayton Mall Non Profit Co-Op. Karen Kelly Brown, the Marketing Director at the Dayton Mall has partnered with a number of nonprofits in order to provide all kinds of resources to our Dayton Community. FLOC is so very proud to be a partner with this incredible effort.
The Dayton Mall has seen hundreds of donations since it began this project and Karen had this to say of its success:
“Today alone I loaded up a van for House of Bread – and it will feed several, several hundred people hopefully for about a week. (Hot lunches and groceries for the families).
In addition, caseworkers from 5 families from Children’s Services loaded up today.
Elizabeth’s New Life – the center for new moms and babies, came to collect items and we had so many things that she will have to come back several times.
This has grown in leaps and bounds. Our goal is to hand out the food that we have shelved this month – and then continue the stockroom (where it all started) for as long as is needed.”
