Doug and I have been so fortunate to have so many of you to our home over the past twelve years for our annual FLOC gala. FLOC, For Love of Children serves over 6,000 children in our community who are neglected, abused, in foster care, or who are in need of community resource. We are a passionate organization of thousands of volunteers; we are 100% volunteer based- your donations make our programming possible. This is by far our biggest annual fundraiser, and provides us with our resources for the following year.
The gala is a day of much love, laughter and insight into the world of many little ones who need love and laughter. We have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars and given the fact that there is no paid staff, your monies have gone directly into our very productive programming. This year we’re shaking things up a bit. Woodstock is celebrating its 50th year reunion this year. That’s kind of really annoying because I thought I was a teeny tiny baby during this event. Nope, I was a full-fledged eleven. Ahh, age and time…
This year, two of our most fabulous volunteers are donating their beautiful home to recreate WoodFLOCk. There will be bands, there will be drinks, there will be food. We will have some of the children we have helped along the way share their journey with FLOC. We will have a silent and live auction, with incredible items offered, such as a week vacation at a beach front condo in Florida, Columbia and South Carolina. Many many fabulous items to bid on- all with the distinct knowledge that every dollar you donate goes to a local child in great need.
Please set aside September 14th for a day of embracing your community, for a greater knowledge of how you can help our children who need you, for a WoodFLOCk experience.

The cost of a ticket?
To purchase your ticket, please visit our Eventbrite page. Tickets purchased here are $100 each. Tickets sold after September 1st will be $125, tickets at the door will be $150. There will be a VIP section for approximately 35 people. This will include drinks, delicious food and a great view of all activities of the day. VIP tickets will sell for $500.
