“ClassMates” is a virtual tutoring program, initiated by the student and adult volunteers of MVAPI(Miami Valley Area Physicians of Indian Origin).
The tutors consist of a group of incredibly advanced, caring and generous students who are kind enough to share their time and insight. You can sign up directly through the link provided.
ClassMates is a free online tutoring program with our primary mission being to academically support K-12 students in the Dayton area. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many students have fallen behind due to lack of available resources. Our goal is to help close the gaps in educational inequality and provide every student with the opportunity to learn. Our tutors will commit to a weekly schedule with their matched student, and perform tutoring over a virtual platform such as Google, Hangout or Zoom.
Please share with the students that may be interested in joining the program. Encourage students to apply by June 10th to be part of the Summer program! Financial aid is available to support and provide the resources needed for this program.
